Shiny’s Flying Bass is a web site of Shin-ichiro Abe, World-traveler and Bassist.
At the achievement of 100 countries, Shin created this website supported by Web production office Studio 621.
You can find and purcahse photos of many beautiful natures, architectures, people and so on from the visited countries.

Shin was born in Japan and began playing Electric Bass especially for Funk, R&B from his high school age. Then Shin was facinated by jazz and began playing Wood Bass from late 20’s.
Shin moved to London twice in 2009-2012 and 2014-2015, and had joined over 100 gigs including London Jazz Festival, Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer gig etc, and also joined CD recordings of Amira Kheir et al. Shin studied Wood Bass under Koichi Yamazaki, Yoshiro Kanda, Syuhei Mitsui, and Jazz theory under Shan Verma. Shin is now performing at mamy venues mainly in Osaka, Japan.
After moving to London in 2009, Shin began travelling almost every month taking the geographic advantage of London, where covers most of European countries with several hours of flight. At the same time, Shin began painting the visited country of the world map, and trying to fill the unvisited country. Shin is not “backpacker” traveleing for a few months or years, but “bullet trip” traveler for a few days to around ten days. By 2012, Shin had visited all of the 28 European Union countries. By 2018, Shin achieved visits to 100 countries all over the world.
Shin also achieved a Round-the-world trip from end of 2018 to beginning of 2019.
Shin is keeping on traveling from Osaka, Japan.
